Week 27

Week 27

It was fun to see the family for Thanksgiving. No one had seen the belly since about August/September and it has certainly grown since then. The baby seemed to be in a turkey-induced coma, though, and was very quiet all day.

Week 26
posted by Amy @ 12:44 pm in [ Baby Pitmon - My Pregnancy ]

Week 26It has been a nice routine week. I’ve read that the baby can actually hear me and noises around me at this point. I feel kind of silly talking to him or her, but for some reason I feel like I should. The baby does seem very calm when I listen to relaxing music and active when I listen to more lively music, like it’s dancing around in there. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine what’s going on in there with all the wild movements. Before I was pregnant, I never really knew what to expect as far as feeling the baby move. It’s even more awesome than I thought it would be. It makes me feel so connected to this little person growing inside of me.

Week 25
posted by Amy @ 4:03 pm in [ Baby Pitmon - My Pregnancy ]

Week 25Now I definitely know that I’m showing because complete strangers are making comments that make it obvious that they know I’m expecting. Belly seems bigger daily. Baby’s movements are so strong now that I can see my belling moving all the time and I’ve even been awoken a few times from sleep. Still feeling great, other than having to pee constantly. It’s hard watching the numbers on the scale climb every week, though I know I’m gaining a healthy amount of weight for the baby. Really, I love my belly and just can’t stop touching it and staring at it. It’s just so fascinating! I love it when Ray touches it too and that he can see and feel the baby’s movements.

The weeks are going by so fast now, probably partly because my life is so busy right now. This was a very stressful week with a messed up work schedule because construction workers kept disconnecting my Internet so I couldn’t work for hours at a time. As if that wasn’t enough, they cut the gas line at the street and we could smell the gas pouring out, so we decided it would be a good idea to evacuate in case it blew up. On top of that, I had to take my sick cat to the vet. There was absolutely no routine to my life this week and I really missed my desperately needed naps. I think I really kept it fairly cool considering the circumstances and my out-of-control pregnancy hormones. Really hoping for a nice boring routine next week, though.
